This 1988 matchup featured the Baker Buffaloes vs. Lee High Rebels in the first round of the LHSAA playoffs. Offensively, Quarterback Gregg Moock connect on two long passes for TD to Anthony Alexander and Greg Davis, and Mike Davis showed his burst of speed on a long run for a touchdown. Defensively, Von Paige and Brad Turner came up with timely interceptions. The Buffaloes finished the regular season undefeated at 10-0 and were 7-AAAA District Champions.
