Part 15 of my walk along The Staffordshire Way. I continue from the Buttercross in Rocester, where we finished in part 14. I continue through the village and pass the JCB World Headquarters before heading to Quixhill Gate and the outskirts of the village of Denstone. Then we head to Alton, passing along an ancient way along the way. I get lost a couple of times as per normal before we head into the village of Alton. Finishing at the entrance for Alton Castle before a quick exploration of the village.
THE RETURN WALK: In the return walk, I walk from Alton Castle along the Churnet Valley Railway Walk which was once the Uttoxeter Canal and make my way to Denstone, before picking up the JCB World Headquarters where I head back to Rocester, following mainly the Churnet Way SEE VIDEO: • Alton to Rocester (A Walk Back from The St...
