CNC sampling is the practice of taking the design of a new product and having each piece cut on a CNC machine which is usually a multi access drill that can produce very small, very accurate parts. So before you go to the costs of molding and mass production you can use CNC small parts to assemble your product to make sure that the parts work, the noise, the tolerance, the functions of the machine is working collectively as a whole. It is much cheaper to make small parts from CNC to get it tested or prototype that it is to cut the molds and get mass production pieces put together.

This is a step to verify your technology, to get accurate pricing or to find alternative materials for expensive parts. So we use CNC sampling to make a fast hand sample of a complex machine.
