Zlatan Ibrahimovic Family: 5 Siblings And 2 Sons

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of the most expensive, talented, explosive and simply the best footballers of all time. He was born in Sweden and started his career in Malmo in 1995. Very quickly he drew the attention of Ajax that bought him for almost 10 million dollars. In Amsterdam, Ibrahimovic demonstrated excellent work, having kicked 5 goals in 12 games. Then he was sold to Juventus for 21 million dollars and made 16 goals in the first season. In 2006, he signed a 4-year contract with Inter and finished the season with 15 goals. Today, the famous football player is successful not only professionally, being a member of the LA Galaxy but personally too, being a husband and a father.

Zlatan’s dad, Sefik was a talented musician with several released albums. After the divorce from his first wife, he moved from his home country Bosnia to Sweden. There he met his sweetheart Jurka, who became his second wife. The couple was married for just a couple of years until the divorce. The father used to drink a lot because of poverty and inability to help kids financially. However, now he is sober and keeps singing thanks to the support of Ibrahimovic.

The mother, Jurka was present in son’s life only part-time as Sefik had custody over him. According to a great footballer, his father sacrificed a lot to raise him the way he is today. Even though the mother was only partially present, she also did her best to support the son both emotionally and financially, working as a cleaner 14 hours a day.

The celebrity had a half-brother from father side named Sapko, who was delivered before Sefik tied the knot with Jurka. There is almost no information about Sapko and how close he was with Zlatan. However, we do know that he had been suffering of an illness for a long time and passed away in 2014, aged 40.

There is also a blood sister Sanela, who was separated from the brother at a young age as she lived with the mother and Zlatan was raised by the father.

Alexander, Monika and Vileta are other siblings to a footballer but nothing is known about them.

Zlatan’s personal life is not less interesting as his professional career. He has been with a long-time partner, Helena Seger since 2002 and till present time. When they met in 2002, she was a successful marketing executive and didn’t like Ibrahimovic at all, thinking that he is crude. Nonetheless, it only turned Zlatan on and he managed to change her mind within a couple of dates. Helena is not only a partner of the best footballer but also a business woman and mother of their two sons.

In 2006, the couple has welcomed their first child, Maximilian. According to Zlatan, when he is at home, he is not a person everyone wants to make pictures with or take autographs of. He is 100% a family man.

Their second son, Vincent became an amazing addition in 2008. Both Vincent and Maximilian are members of the Manchester United Academy and who knows, maybe they have inherited some of dad’s talents.
