Northern Pike CRUSHES Rapala X-Rap Otus!! (Fall Fishing)

The Rapala X-Rap Otus is one of my FAVOURITE pike lures, especially in the fall time. I have talked to a lot of people that own this lure but have yet to catch a fish on it. I wanted to make a super quick video to show that these pike CRUSH this bait. It's super slow sinking with great tail action in the water. Work this bait slow during the fall as the pike can be lethargic. Keep it about a foot off bottom with some pauses and you'll be successful! We had 7 follows right to the boat and only the one pike landed before we made the transition to some walleye and carp fishing. Of course, thank you for tuning in!
