Here’s the interpretation of Surah Al-Furqan, verses 70 to 73:
Verse 70: "Except for those who repent, believe, and do righteous work. For them, Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful."
Explanation: This verse gives hope to those who may have committed serious sins, assuring that if they repent sincerely, have faith, and change their behavior by doing good deeds, Allah will not only forgive them but will also transform their past sins into rewards.
Verse 71: "And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allah with [accepted] repentance."
Explanation: This reinforces the importance of repentance combined with righteous actions. Allah promises to accept repentance from those who genuinely seek His forgiveness and strive to improve their lives.
Verse 72: "And [they are] those who do not bear witness to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity."
Explanation: This describes the qualities of true believers. They avoid lying, deceit, and don’t engage in harmful or disrespectful talk. Instead, they respond to such situations with dignity, not lowering themselves to the level of those engaging in misconduct.
Verse 73: "And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind."
Explanation: True believers are also receptive to Allah's signs and teachings. They are not indifferent but rather heed Allah’s guidance with open hearts, striving to understand and follow His path.
