In this alternate universe, Ashil Agriche’s tragic death does not mark the end of his story, but the beginning of a far more dangerous one. After dying within the cruel hierarchy of the Agriche family, Ashil is reincarnated into the body of Mori Ougai from Bungo Stray Dogs, a young man who had recently died from illness. The body’s age and condition allow Ashil to blend in seamlessly, but it forces him to inherit the identity of a feared and calculating figure—the future boss of the Port Mafia.

Unlike canon, Mori’s past is reimagined: raised as an orphan and molded by the former Port Mafia boss into a tool of medicine, politics, and violence. Ashil’s compassion clashes with this ruthless legacy, creating a constant moral struggle. His first decisive act is killing the old boss—both as revenge and as a strategic purge—freeing the Port Mafia from manipulation and seizing control for himself.

During this upheaval, Ashil rescues Sylvia Pedelian, who was imprisoned for her rare Blue Pedelian healing ability. The trauma of captivity awakens her snow-based power, making her both fragile and lethal. Their relationship begins in distrust—Sylvia knows Ashil was once a Black Agriche—but his actions slowly prove he is different. Trust is earned through results, not promises.

Ashil later enlists Sylvia to monitor Roxanna’s movements from within the Pedelian family, aligning their goals: protecting Cassis, surviving noble politics, and undermining the Agriches. Eventually, he offers her a permanent place within the Port Mafia. After long hesitation, she accepts, taking the alias Kouyou Ozaki, transforming from captive into executive, strategist, and assassin. Their bond evolves into quiet loyalty and mutual respect, shaped by shared trauma and restraint rather than sentimentality.

To the noble world, the Port Mafia is a phantom threat—known, feared, but faceless. Families like Agriche and Pedelian are aware of its supernatural abilities, largely due to the legendary Soukoku—Dazai Osamu and Nakahara Chuuya—whose raids and assassinations have become mythic. None suspect that Ashil, seemingly young and unassuming, is the one commanding them.

This illusion shatters when Dion and Jeremy Agriche clash with Soukoku under Ashil’s orchestration. Overwhelmed and humiliated, they are spared only when Roxanna appears—Soukoku immediately halting upon recognizing their boss’s sister. The encounter exposes the depth of Ashil’s influence and the absolute loyalty he commands.

By the time Ashil and Sylvia arrive at Agriche itself, its former cruelty no longer survives. Ashil systematically eradicates those who harmed his loved ones and spares the innocent, dismantling the family’s legacy of violence.
