Water Pipe Leak Repair / Joining Copper & Lead

In this water pipe leak repair video, will I demonstrate a long-lost technique that I admit I'm a little rusty at? But when called to check the source of a leak coming thru a basement ceiling, I was shocked to see a boat load of lead water lines running rampant throughout my customer's house.

After attempting to join the two lines using a Sharkbite fitting (it failed) I was faced with going back to a technique I haven't used for over 30 years. I hope you get something out of this video and if you like what I'm doing on my channel please SUBSCRIBE!
