Upgrade your LINNPOWER ZEPHYR MAX electric skateboard from standard 85mm wheels to all-terrain 160x55mm pneumatic wheels for a smoother ride on rough roads, better grip, and enhanced shock absorption. In this step-by-step tutorial, we’ll walk you through the entire wheel swap process—from removing the stock 85mm wheels and belt drive system to installing and tensioning your new pneumatic setup. For belt-drive boards, the principles of wheel replacement are the same, so you can use this video as a reference for swapping other wheels as well.
✅ PRO TIPS:
Check belt tension periodically—too loose causes slipping, too tight wears out belts soon;
After tightening the axle nut, make sure to loosen it by half a turn. Otherwise, it may cause noise and accelerate bearing wear.
Only the ZEPHYR Max supports pneumatic wheels. For the Base and Pro versions, we recommend using wheels up to a maximum diameter of 125mm.
