Hiking with a 6-year old kid to a high mountain pass called Kokrško sedlo (Kokra pass) in Kamnik-Savinja mountain range in Slovenia took five hours (car – top – car) and required 2,930 ft / 893 m of elevation gain. The path starts in the forest, then continues over a rocky terrain offering breathtaking views of surrounding mountains, and ascends to the beautiful mountain pass Kokrsko sedlo. The pass is in fact a starting point to the highest summits of the Kamnik-Savinja mountain range: Grintovec (8,392 ft, 2,558 m), Kočna (8,333 ft / 2,540 m), Skuta (8,307 ft / 2,532 m), Kalški greben (7,297 ft/ 2,224 m) and other. Overall, the hike is an easy one and if a 6-year old can do it, so can you! :D
