Michel Moushabeck, the Palestinian American founder of Interlink Publishing, engages in conversation with renowned activist and political analyst Phyllis Bennis about her crucial new book "Understanding Palestine and Israel," which features a foreword by noted Palestinian analyst Omar Baddar. In the interview, as in the book, Bennis cuts through the noise and delivers clear, accessible answers to the most pressing questions about Israel’s ongoing war on Gaza and the West Bank – questions that many have never had the opportunity to ask. Bennis is a fellow at the Institute for Policy Studies, serves as an international adviser to Jewish Voice for Peace, and is a leading voice in U.S. and global movements supporting Palestinian rights and challenging U.S. foreign policy. The event took place at UMass-Amherst on April 8, 2025.
