The Grid Technique: How To Use it, Why I dislike it & Why it's Actually Good

I struggled today so I could strive tomorrow. This drawing was such a struggle that I questioned my ability to make art! But I think making myself use a method I didn't like unlocked something in my brain because the next day when I went down to my studio everything was on easy mode. No practise is ever wasted. You either succeed at what you set out to do or you learn something. Sure, you might ruin a piece of paper but as far as the price of education goes, it's pretty cheap.
