Indigenous T-Dress Tutorial

I show you how to make your own T-dress.

MATERIALS
-Fabric: yardage needs to be at least the length/height of your dress x 2. (I'm 5'6" and wanted a long dress - mine was 57 inches - x 2 is 114 inches, which is slightly over 3 yards, so I needed slightly over 3 yards of fabric)
-Dress embellishments: in this video I apply ribbon. Many also apply elk teeth, dentilium, porcupine quills, and other items.
-Fray Blocking method
-Drafting and sewing notions: scissors, rulers, measuring tape, thread, sewing machine, gluestick for ribbon
-Bias tape IF that's how you're choosing to hem. I do not use bias tape in this video.
-Zipper IF you're applying one. I do not use a zipper in this video.
