I built this box specifically for a recording session with songwriter Enrique Cesar. We used it for his live full-length record titled 'The Burrito Years'. I used the splitter for Enrique's vocal - one output when to my recorder, and the other went to a monitoring setup in the live room, where Enrique was performing. He was able to adjust his vocal level to taste, while I was able to optimize the sound on my end, changing gain and compression as needed. Enrique recorded 14 songs in a single afternoon - 12 of which were first takes. It was a wonderful performance by Enrique, with a few lucky friends of his sitting quietly in attendance.
