Choshi 調子
This famous Honkyoku piece is considered as a prelude or warm-up piece (Take Shirabe).
Choshi means "Unity of Heaven and Earth" and exists in several versions;
The Fudai-ji one comes from a former Fuke temple in nowadays Hamamatsu, Shizuoka prefecture.

Though it's not my main Chikumeisha style, it is nice for me to explore the less ornamented playing, softer blowing and pure tone of these kind of pieces.
It suits very well with this type of old ji-nashi (this one probably dated from late Edo or Meiji period).
