Cheap BACKPACKING GEAR - Thrift Store Challenge

There are tons of budget backpacking gear videos on YouTube. I have yet to find a budget gear list that the average new backpacker can afford.

I have continually reinforced the idea that you should not spend a lot of money on backpacking gear until you know you are going to stick with it.

So today, I'm challenging myself to find everything I need to go backpacking for under $100. Follow along as I find everything I need at the local Goodwill thrift stores to go on an overnight backpacking trip without going broke.
