Reclaimed Window Community Library for the Neighborhood Goat!

We built an awesome neighborhood library from a reclaimed wood window for some neighbors. They have a goat, named Tiny, that we take our son to see several times a week. He really enjoys his visits to see Tiny. Recently when we visited Tiny, there was a plastic tote out front with books in it and a small piece of paper saying it was a book exchange. So we thought it would be a nice thing to build them a proper community library that the whole neighborhood could enjoy, as we are not the only ones who enjoy visiting Tiny while walking through the neighborhood.

I got the idea that I could use an old wood window as a door for this project. So I started by purchasing a reclaimed window from Craigslist, and built the rest of the project around those dimensions. We are very happy with how it turned out and really enjoy getting to see our work in our own community.
