All I can say is I’m sorry for making y’all wait. A lot happened behind the scenes that held this one back, but I’m very happy with the result. Huge thank you to Nicki for taking on this absolute doozy of a song and singing it with me. Go check out her work if you haven’t already! She's a wonderful singer, and we've even done some collabs on her channel as well.

Even disregarding the troubles I had, this is the biggest single song project I’ve worked on to date. Every single part (drums, bass, LOTS of guitars, LOTS of piano, etc.) are some of the most intricate parts I’ve ever had to arrange / perform. And that’s without mentioning the vocals having maybe one set of lyrics repeat itself, so every single line in this song is a different take, and the vocals were also some of the most difficult to perform for me that I’ve ever done for a cover. This was a massive undertaking for me, unlike any song that’s come before and will likely come after. I’m not sure if it comes across, but I absolutely poured my soul (and at least a full business week’s worth of time) into this one. I put my all into every single part of this song.
