Del Lago at Vidanta - Riviera Maya | Food Review

We have finally returned to Riviera Maya in Mexico. On this trip, we were able to explore and try many new places for some awesome meals. We hope you all stay tuned for the amazing meals and views we were able to catch on this amazing trip.

Del Lago features the most extensive breakfast buffet imaginable, including local fruit, freshly baked bread, meats, cheeses, quiches, crêpes, made-to-order omelets. It's located on the resort of the Vidanta in the Riviera Maya. The food here was so amazing we wanted to eat here every day. This was actually the first restaurant we tried upon arriving at the resort.

Everything on the buffet was so fresh. They even have stations available to make special orders. Such as omelets, waffles, french toast. You can add numerous toppings to all of them. They also offered freshly squeezed juices. The juices were so fresh it seemed as though they were juicing the fruits in-house.

The customer service here was on point. They refilled our cups at every chance. We did not have any complaints during our visit, except, we wanted to keep eating but couldn't. This restaurant sits on a lake that spans across a portion of the Vidanta property offering picturesque views off in the distance. This place is highly recommended.
