Class A Truck Driving in High Demand

We sat down with Truck Driving Instructor, Larry, to learn why he enjoys teaching at ACI. “My favorite part of this job is actually helping people change their lives. We’re like a lot of people’s last resort. They have been at the minimum wage jobs and now they can’t find jobs, and we’re actually the gateway for them to change their lives. The little schools around the Fresno area, they’re really just out to make the buck. We’re actually here to train people and to help get them out of the environment that they are in right now, into a career. Realistically our graduates are, there is a huge demand in the transportation industry. 2008 it kind of took a nose dive, but now the economy is turning around. Transportation has opened up again. Our placement rate for our students at this time is right around 87%, which is awesome.”
