বলিউডের সুপারস্টার আমির খানের ছেলে জুনেইদ খান সম্প্রতি জানিয়ে দিলেন, বাবার আইকনিক চরিত্রে অভিনয়ে তার কোনো আগ্রহ নেই। কারণ একটাই নিজেকে প্রমাণ করতে চান নিজের মেধা ও পরিশ্রম দিয়ে, তুলনায় নয়।
প্রথম ছবি ‘মহারাজ’ এর মাধ্যমে বলিউডে আত্মপ্রকাশ করেছেন জুনেইদ। প্রশংসাও পেয়েছেন অনেক। কিন্তু তারকা-সন্তান হওয়ার সুবিধা থাকা সত্ত্বেও জুনেইদ জানিয়েছেন, তিনি বাবার তৈরি পরিচয় নয়, নিজের পরিচয় তৈরি করতে চান। তাই বাবার মতো জনপ্রিয় চরিত্রগুলোকে এড়িয়ে চলছেন।
সাক্ষাৎকারে জুনেইদ বলেন, “আমি জানি, আমির খানের ছেলে হওয়ায় কিছু সুযোগ পেয়েছি। কিন্তু আমি চাই মানুষ আমাকে আমার কাজ দিয়ে চিনুক, আমার পরিচয় হোক আলাদা। বাবার চরিত্রে অভিনয় করলে সবাই তুলনা করবে, আর আমি সেটা চাই না।”

Junaid Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, recently revealed that he has no interest in playing his father's iconic role. The reason is that he wants to prove himself through his talent and hard work, not by comparison.
Junaid made his Bollywood debut with his first film 'Maharaj'. He also received a lot of praise. But despite the advantages of being a star child, Junaid said that he wants to create his own identity, not the one created by his father. That is why he is avoiding popular characters like his father.
In an interview, Junaid said, "I know that being Aamir Khan's son has given me some opportunities. But I want people to know me for my work, my identity to be different. If I play my father's role, everyone will compare me, and I don't want that."
