Key characteristics associated with those favored by God include:
• Intimacy with God: They actively seek a close relationship with God through prayer, studying
His word, and walking with Him daily, much like Enoch, who "walked with God". Genesis 5:24
• Faith and Trust: Unwavering faith is a crucial characteristic; they trust in God's goodness and
provision even when circumstances are difficult or uncertain, like Abraham and Sarah did.
Romans 4:18-22
• Humility and Meekness: They possess a proper estimation of themselves, free from pride, and
realize that promotion and blessings come from God alone, as exemplified by Moses. Numbers
12:1-9,
• Obedience and Surrender: They strive to obey God's commandments and surrender to His will
for their lives, even if the path seems challenging or undesirable, as Mary of Nazareth did when
she accepted her calling. Luke 1:46-55
