Technically, there is no war going on between the members of The Endless. That’s because their rules of existence prevent them from doing such things. But to call the dynamic between Dream and Desire anything else will be inaccurate, because in a way, they’ve been at war for millennia. Sure, it’s not the kind of all flags, no surrender warfare that we’re familiar with. But it’s the closest thing to that for two entities who are literally not allowed to even touch each other with malevolence.
