How to update spouse or child status in Canada for BC MSP (Health) card

Citizens, residents, and temporary immigrants of BC can update or confirm their status in Canada using the online MSP Account Change Request form, including the submission of supporting documentation.

The online form takes under 15 minutes to complete. No login or password is required: the Account Holder’s Personal Health Number (PHN) will be used to verify the account.

If you are updating or confirming your status in Canada, you will have to upload one or more of the following:
Canadian Passport;
Permanent Resident Card (both front and back);
Work Permit;
Study Permit;
Landed Immigration Documents;
Permit indicating Religious Worker;
Confirmation of your religious server from your religious order;
Foil from your diplomatic passport.
