In this video, I test out my homemade Strawberry Jello Chicken Gizzard Catfish Bait at a small public park pond, fishing from a pier. This spot was recently stocked with farm-raised channel catfish for a catfish rodeo event about a week ago. These stocked catfish are on the smaller side, and I brought hooks that were slightly too big—but that didn’t stop the action!
Despite the gear mismatch, I managed to land one and got a ton of bites throughout the session. This catfish bait worked surprisingly well on these freshly stocked channel cats, and this trip proves it’s worth trying in your local ponds too!
