Another fighter resuming from 2019, but has been getting top sparring in manila and looks in intimidating shape!. Cris Ganoza is a rangy southpaw, and that invariably gives his opponents trouble. He has a really impressive work rate, and his ability to apply sensible pressure, make angle, and punch again is the sign of a quality fighter. He looks really hard to beat here.
Junuel Lacar has ability in spades, and his record of 6 knockouts in his 8 wins tells you that the boy boasts plenty of power. He has had a run of losses of late, but it's fair to say, they have all been top opponents, and have been matches where Lacar has looked good in parts. So his assignment against Ganoza is to maintain concentration for the whole six rounds, and avoid being countered after he makes his opening attacks. There is no doubt Junuel Lacar has the ability to make this a close one if he gets his defenses in order, and the opening round would tell us a lot about the final outcome.
