Fish qeema is a delicious and flavorful dish made with ground fish. It's a variation of the traditional meat-based qeema (minced meat) dishes. Here's a simple recipe for making fish qeema:

Ingredients:

500 grams of ground fish (you can use any firm-fleshed fish like cod, tilapia, or catfish)
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, finely chopped
2 tablespoons oil or ghee
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions:

Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat.

Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute until the raw smell disappears.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and the oil starts to separate.

Add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a couple of minutes.

Add the ground fish to the spice mixture. Break up the fish with a spatula and mix well with the spices.

Cook the fish qeema on medium heat until the fish is fully cooked and the mixture is dry. This may take about 15-20 minutes.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

Serve hot with rice, naan, or roti. Squeeze some lemon juice on top before serving for added freshness.
