Canadian National's main line across the Hawkeye State between Waterloo and Dubuque sees a pair of daily manifests, a few locals and some unit ethanol and grain trains. While it may not be a bustling double tracked artery, the topography of this area offers the visitor a unique perspective on midwestern railroading. Foreign road units are as common as fallen flags like EJ&E and GTW. Together with some older CN locomotives, this will certainly be a video worth your while.
