A rare radio program on Charles-Valentin Alkan's life and work with Ronald Smith, John Lenehan and Marc-André Hamelin, from 1994.
I'm not sure whether there is anything very surprising about Alkan in this lecture, especially for avid Alkanophiles, but I believe this quite long recording featuring these great Alkanists is quite historical, and, thus, might be a decent tribute to the memory of this astonishing composer. Happy 200th Birthday, Chuck! ;)
