Hitchhiking Adventure from Shillong to Mawlynnong | Unexpected Luxury Lunch at a 5-Star Resort

The owner of a 5-star resort stopped his car, offered us a lift, and even treated us to a delicious lunch at his luxury property.

This is the beauty of traveling without money – you meet the kindest souls, share unforgettable moments, and experience adventures that money can’t buy. From the scenic Meghalaya roads to the warmth of local people, this journey is a reminder that kindness still exists in the world.
