4 videos a sticched together modifing a set of 06 P71 mufflers.
Last part of this write up is a up date. May 2015
1st part is a look inside a crown vic muffler cut open and the plan to bore parts of it internally.
2nd part, sound of the stock mufflers. rev it up stand behind.
3rd part shows the patches on bottom of muffler after going in and boring passages. All welding was done old school with Oxy-Acetylene torch, ouch when it pops.
4th part, sound of the system in modded form, a little louder and throatyer, kinda crisp sounding. nice, pretty subtle. Gotta do a drive-by so we can get a better idea what it sounds like real world.
If i ever do this mod again i will just bore a hole in the rear cumpartment centre to let the gas flow strait throu.
I think this mod makes more power, i think this 06 with this mod has more power than my 05 did with Magnaflows.
