Chidorigafuchi（千鳥ケ淵）is a famous place to view cherry blossoms in Tokyo. It is located in Chiyoda ward and at the northwest of the Imperial palace.Chidorigafuchi is the moats and waterways of the Edo Castle.Visitors can rent boats and enjoy beautiful sakura. There are 260 cherry blossom trees stretches for 700m.It can be reached from Kudanshita station exit-2 and 5.

Kitanomaru Park(北の丸公園):
Kitanomaru Park was the location of the northern section of Edo Castle and was home to the ruling Tokugawa family. It is located between Yasukuni Shrine and the Imperial Palace East Gardens. Though Edo Castle burnt down during a fire in 1873, there are two original Edo style gates standstill, Tayasu Mon - constructed in 1685 and other is the Shimizu Mon. The park which opened to the public in 1969.The park encompasses the Budokan- Japan's top martial arts venue built for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics Judo competitions,National Museum Of Modern Art Tokyo and Science museum.
