Uptown Jazz Dallas' Jazz Around Town made a stop in at The Free Man Cajun Cafe in Deep Ellum for the Funky Knuckles CD release of Meta-Musica. While there we were treated to others using the moment to celebrate our Dallas music as well.
In this scene from the evening, we take a look at Mark Lettieri, a guitarist in our community who's beginning to make his presence felt with his own CD "FutureFun" while also playing a central role in the now Grammy Award winning fusion/jazz collective known at Snarky Puppy. As you can see from this clip, Mark's trio (consisting of Braylon Lacy on bass & TaRon Lockett on drums) unleashed a pretty BIG sound on everybody and is one of the reasons why we do what we do.
