🙏 Salok Mohalla 9: The Divine Wisdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji (Complete)
Join us in commemorating the 350th anniversary of the martyrdom (Shaheedi Diwas) of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the Ninth Sikh Guru and 'Hind Di Chadar (The Shield of India).
This video presents the complete 57 Saloks(couplets) of Salok Mohalla 9, the final composition added to the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. These profound verses distill the essence of Sikh philosophy, focusing on the transient nature of the world, the importance of remembering the Divine Name ($Naam$), and the path to spiritual liberation.
✨ Significance of Salok Mohalla 9:
Composed by Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji just before his supreme sacrifice in 1675, these Salokas serve as a final, illuminating message to humanity. They are traditionally recited at the end of the Path (reading) of the Guru Granth Sahib Ji and before the Mundaavani (Seal). Listening to these Salokas is a powerful way to connect with the Guru's unwavering spirit and timeless wisdom.

ਸਲੋਕ ਮਹਲਾ ੯ (ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ)
ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ 'ਸਲੋਕ ਮਹਲਾ ੯' ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਜ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਸਲੋਕ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਰਚੇ ਸਨ:
🙏 ੩੫੦ ਸਾਲਾ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਦਿਵਸ ਅਤੇ 'ਹਿੰਦ ਦੀ ਚਾਦਰ' 🙏
ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਯਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ:
ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਦਿਵਸ: ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਦਿਵਸ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਦਿਹਾੜਾ ਹੈ।
ਹਿੰਦ ਦੀ ਚਾਦਰ (Hind Di Chadar): ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ 'ਹਿੰਦ ਦੀ ਚਾਦਰ' (ਭਾਵ: ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਜਾਂ ਢਾਲ) ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰੀ ਪੰਡਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਗੈਰ-ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਸੀਸ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
