The Chanterelle wide leg Pants, a Vetiver Top and The Square Neck Top in embroidered linen.

Hello everyone and thank you for joining me today in my sewing room today.
I have made the Chanterelle Pants by Sew Liberated, I made View A which is the wide leg style, and it’s a dramatic wide leg pant with inset pockets, loving these pants.

I used a washed linen fabric I purchased from Maaidesign in the blackberry colour; this is a fabulous fabric, very soft and medium weight linen.

I made the size 10 as they are quite oversized and they fit perfectly, the pattern has all the finished measurements for all of the views.
As I had a small amount of fabric left and wanted to use it up so I made a Vetiver Top by French Navy

I did view B but did not add the button but created a pleat down the front and can still easily get the top on, I make a size F in the Vetiver and it’s an easy fit.
I then made the Square neck Top by Friday Pattern Co, its fast becoming a favourite, I used the Mademoiselle Embroidered Linen from The Dahlia Sewciety in a lilac colour and I’m loving how this goes with my lace pants.
I did make the size L, which fitted perfectly, a lovely square neck top that does not gape at the neckline or shoulders.
I highly recommend this top pattern, it is short but if you lengthen it you may need to grade out for the hips, as it’s quite a straight top.
