全国有数のギンナン生産地として知られている稲沢市祖父江町の山崎地区で、約１万１千本のイチョウの黄葉が見頃を迎え、街中を黄金色に染め上げている。

　同町商工会によると、今年は猛暑などの影響で、色づきが約半月遅れた。名鉄山崎駅そばの「祖父江ぎんなんパーク」ではイチョウ並木のトンネルが人気で、６日も記念撮影を楽しむ家族連れらでにぎわった。

In the Yamazaki district of Sobue-cho, Inazawa City, known as one of the nation's leading ginkgo nut producing areas, the yellow leaves of about 11,000 ginkgo trees are in full bloom, painting the town golden.

According to the town's Chamber of Commerce, the coloring was delayed by about half a month this year due to the effects of the extreme heat. At Sobue Ginnan Park near Meitetsu Yamazaki Station, the ginkgo tree-lined tunnel is popular, and on the 6th it was crowded with families enjoying taking commemorative photos.
