McDonald's is famous for creating specific menu items for the local palette and depending on what country they are in, the foods can get quite unique! Germany is no exception to unique menu items made for their German customer base and one such item was made to cash in on the German love affair with Spargel, aka white asparagus. After moving to Germany and getting wrapped up in the Spargelzeit excitement after some time living in Germany, we became particularly intrigued by the German McDonald's menu item, the Big Spargel Hollandaise!
