Kali Linux is an ever changing environment and each install can be different whether it is on a partition or via VirtualBox. This week we found a new issue in Kali 2020.3 where our other driver installation video for ALFA AWUS036ACH and AWUS1900 worked great for a partition install, but for VirtualBox 6.1 it only works for AWUS036ACH and NOT the AWUS1900.
Watch this video to see the commands we ran to fix the issue. Alternatively your issue could be that you just have not added the USB device inside VirtualBox's Settings - USB area for your Kali install. Toward the end of this video we show you how to do that.
