Here’s a good quality version of the Splash video for their song ‘No Difference’. The video was made in April 1990, in the early dawn of South Africa’s transition to a non-racial democracy. The first ‘talks about talks’ were in May. No doubt, the desire for racial harmony and peace was on the late Soweto born singer Dan Tshanda’s mind. Director Nic Hofmeyr made an allegory, casting a group of multi-national children and turning the band into East Asian guerilla soldiers ready to lay down their arms.
