Day 2 in Hampi started exactly how I imagined: golden sunlight hitting the rice fields and a deep sense of peace.In this episode, I truly experienced the soul of this place. From the morning Aarti at the ancient Virupaksha Temple (and a very special blessing from Lakshmi the elephant!) to trekking through history at the Elephant Stables and the Kampabhupa pathway, Hampi is a dream for anyone who loves architecture.But the best part? The people. We ended the day with a dip in the natural pool and a late-night gaming session at the hostel cafe.
