Model 12 lathe 13x40 size. Made new in 1983
A Teco VFD is wired into the machine. It is used to start and stop the motor. Programming allows a ramp up start and stop. Variable speed is done with standard gear changes and then the VFD will allow spindle RPM changes from 50-100% speed in each gear. Great if harmonics occur during a cut.
This video is just a demonstration for future people to see.
