On this early February morning, determined to finish painting our remodeled room, I got up at 5 a.m. hoping to get the job done today. As it got lighter outdoors, I could see that the drizzle had stopped, and the clouds had lifted revealing the Olympic mountains. The TV meteorologist reported that the temperature would reach the mid 50’s! So, Diane and I decided to take a break from home improvements and head for the beach! Shadow especially enjoyed beachcombing along the bluffs of Port Williams County Park (Marlyn Nelson Park), located about a 15-minute drive away. That was a lot of fun! Now back to painting...
