In this video, we will be discussing Cellular respiration. Cellular respiration is the process by which cells transform energy from food into useful chemical energy.
Glycolysis and pyruvic acid oxidation are two of the stages of Cellular respiration. Glycolysis is the process of breaking down glucose to pyruvate, while pyruvic acid is oxidized to acetyl-CoA.
In this Mdcat lectures series, we will be discussing the different parts of Cellular respiration, as well as the interactions between the stages. By the end of this series, you will have a better understanding of the process and how it enables cells to function.
