I had this recording on my computer for some reason, so here it is.
This version of the game was an oddball. It had some of the presentation quirks of the Windows 95, 3DO, PSone and Saturn versions, but was basically a port of the Genesis version with some minor upgrades. Unlike the aforementioned versions, the Sega CD edition had the licensed soundtrack playable while racing. Why wasn't that available on other platforms?
There are longplays online if you want to see the game finished. I slapped on some emulated visual quirks to give it a more vintage look. I mismanaged my money somewhere towards the end because I wanted a bike with a cooler name and look rather than the smarter upgrade choice.
From the wiki:
"The Sega CD, PC, and 3DO game's soundtracks contained 14 music tracks from A&M Records artists Soundgarden, Paw, Hammerbox, Therapy?, Monster Magnet, and Swervedriver."
