Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh and composer Ajaneesh Loknath have teamed up for Kantara Chapter 1, crafting a high-voltage track “Rebel Song” for the Hindi version of the film. Loknath praised Diljit’s humility and dedication, noting that he never showed star airs and even brought a harmonium to learn the tune. According to Loknath, they instantly “knew they had what they wanted” when Diljit joined the studio sessions. The Times of India Diljit himself shared a “personal connection” with the film, admitting that when he watched the original Kantara in theatres, hearing the song “Varaha Roopam” moved him to tears.
