This is my guitar cover of “Infernal Chasm”, using the extended gamerip remix by ‪@SPCHC‬, recorded with my new Schecter C-1 Platinum Blackout.

This track hits different on active pickups.

The tone here is dramatically altered thanks to the EMG 81 (bridge) / EMG 85 (neck) combo — tighter low end, sharper attack, and an aggressive clarity that absolutely thrives in DOOM-style riffing. Compared to passive pickups, the response is immediate, brutal, and unforgiving in the best way possible. Paired with Ernie Ball Beefy Slinky Cobalt strings, my new axe will be sure to deliver the heaviest riffs I've ever produced.
