Following the inaugural conference from last year, the Central Bank of Hungary (MNB), in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is organizing the Central European Green Finance Conference also in 2020, as part of the outreach activity of the Central Banks and Supervisors Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS). The main goals of the event are to support financial institutions in the CEE region to incorporate environmental aspects into their business strategy and risk management, and in particular to help the scaling up of the financing of investments needed for environmental sustainability.

The topics of this year's conference will be quantification and management of climate and environmental risks, and financing a post-COVID green recovery. Confirmed speakers:
