Big Cypress National Preserve is a huge natural area in southern Florida protecting more than 1000 square miles of swampland.
The loop road leads right through the heart of the preserve and is easy and free to access.
It's a beautiful 24mi / 38km journey across the remote tropical landscape.
Along the way you can easily spot many types of wildlife including alligators, eagles, vultures and cranes.
