Another successful series from Stephen Bochco, 'L.A. Law' (1986) ran for eight seasons on NBC. A large ensemble cast dealt not only with law cases; personal relationships and hot-button issues combined with touches of humor kept audiences coming back for more. The show won 15 Emmys, including four for Outstanding Drama. Mike Post's theme was one of his post popular; a single charted at #13 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart.
