Mending my 20-Year-Old Pants with Raw-Edge Appliqué

Hello there!

In this video, I share one of my most special sewing projects thus far with you :-) I've always had trouble with mending, so the idea of fixing holes in my favorite 20-year-old pants was very daunting to me. Luckily, I decided to take a different route; I decided to use appliqué to cover the holes in my pants! This is not an original idea by any stretch. Still, I am very glad I gave this a try and actually went ALL THE WAY with my appliqué. I LOVE how my pants look now. They are almost two decades old, so they might not last much longer. However, I feel so happy every time I wear them now because I have added my personal touch to them. I hope you enjoy watching this video. Most of all, I hope you give appliqué a try.
